Why is it that when I read the part where the body is flailing looking for his head, I can't help but picture it then giggle uncontrollably?

Seriously?! I think I watched Animaniacs one to many times. Oh the '90's and their awesome cartoons with the cartoon violence that rocked so much harder then the horrible cartoons of today.

Also, I think this story is starting to get to me. I had dreams last night involving mannaequins, who were just like these ones. Except they looked like the Jonas Brothers. It was horrible until dream me set them on fire.

He's got a helpless head - oh the possibilities! Granted it probably wouldn't be much use as a hostage, since I doubt the other mannequins care what he does to it, but he could try to get some answers from it!

And I think I know what you mean, NZ. After I read the first two or three pages of this after they got trapped, I dreamt I was locked in a big shopping centre! No creepy mannequins, fortunately, though I think there was probably something else I had to escape from.

Every time I imagine Peter running away with the mannequin's head I think it's going to bite him. Then I realize it can't open it's mouth and the fact that it can speak becomes that much creepier.

It was awful going shopping last week. I kept looking around waiting for the mannequins to come to life.

Now that is getting ahead...

Sorry I couldn't help it. Anyway, lets hope Pete can find some nice toys to use against all of them.

All caught up now and waiting like everyone else.

Awesome to see so many people pumped up and/or dreading the mannequins!

Thanks for the comments - and sorry I've made your shopping lives more difficult!
