PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

The good thing about this whole situation is it never happened to me. If anyone, younger or older, ever tried to take my candy away I would of beat them senseless.
I've always been taught that the world is kill or be killed. That, and it seems I have inherited stubbornness from both parents, anger from one and being neurotic from the other. I'm a mix that can only be labeled as awesome!
It also helps that I have almost 100 cousins, young and old, who would try to beat me up when i was younger. Defending yourself in those kind of situations tends to leave you needing to plan every move and how to get out of things without getting your toys/candy taken.

This never happened to me either, but that was mostly because I had my Daddy there to protect me. Plus it was usually my older brothers doing the stealing. I was safe either way. :)
Poor Peter though, Dill is being so mean! At least if he isn't going to split the loot fifty/fifty he could stop taunting Peter. :(
Now I'm just worried these trick or treaters, if that is what they really are Mr. Pillsbury! I know your tricks by now! Ahem. Now then, I'm just worried these trick or treaters are going to pull a Mercy and appear on the lawn in flashes of lightening.

Yeah I would be kinda a shamed too. Peter has had two types of undead, a monster, and two types of mistical creatures all try to kill him. To lose to what could be kids is just degrading.
I am still standing on that they might not be human, but we will see.
Poor Peter still being teased by Dill, oh well you kinda have to bow to it if you want candie Peter.
