PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

I'm getting more of a Pet Semetary vibe from this rather than Brahm Stoker's Dracula since page 31...
But awesome nonetheless. I really like this story - just started reading. It's awesome.
The characters are interesting and the plot has a good pace to it.
Crits? the church scene was slightly confusing cos I didn't quite picture a full church at the graveyard. oh well - keep going! I'm in suspense
There's lots of churches like that in the Rural Areas of the UK, especially in the south Vong (i'm fully aware that it's set in Rural America)
I don't know that the church was at the graveyard. On Page 26 they were riding their bikes away from the cemetery before pulling into the church parking lot.
But yeah, in smaller towns there are sometimes still churches adjacent to the cemeteries.
