PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Peter don't relax, keep fighting you were at least trying. Though hopefully the nurse will check him shortly and wonder how the pillow got onto his face with him strapped down.
And biting that hand would have made me sick as well. Good thing I haven't had breakfast yet.

Poor Peter. Is he gonna become a zombie, too? Maybe something else undead? That would be kinda cool, and might get people to believe in supernatural phenomena.
I'm pretty sure his vitals are about to go haywire. Hopefully he's hooked up to monitors so they'll notice. :(
