PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Lol, that was a mean trick to pull (on yesterday's comments). I had to read it a second time, thinking that somebody really called himself Joe Blow.
VW: untamist. The new animal rights activists. Oddly enough, they are not so much "animal rights" as "don't let them catch up to our technology" activists.
Trying to come up with a mental image of the baby Snow Demon, and all I have is Hello Kitty.
And it's got a stick! So the Snow Demons are at least fairly intelligent - you can't kill them now, Peter!
Nopplit = The state of being out of place and out of shape, as in "My desk lamp lay nopplit on the floor after it fell."
Well isn't that the cutest monster so far, I hope baby isn't hungry for humans. Maybe Snowy is going to try and talk with Peter, you never know.
