PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

I hope "they" are alive.
They've either already been killed by the dead guy and reanimated or they are going to tie him down to the bed.
Yeah, sedation for the "Hysterical" patient.
I'll bet they're going to wish they had listened later (that is, if they aren't in on it)
And I have GOT to learn to stop reading this stuff before bed.

And how was your holiday weekend?
Hey, it would be kind of cool if they could switch forms. Nurse by day, flesh-eating monster by night. I'm thinking more like Dr. Jeckell/Mr. Hyde than "The Pirates of the Carribean," although either one would be creepy.

Thank you! The holiday weekend was quite nice. Lots of partying...not quite so conducive to writing, but I at least churned out 3 or 4 pages...

Interestingly enough, I have a Hyde/Jekyl-type story planned, but we probably won't see it for a year or so.
