@Darren-from-yesterday: No, it was definitely Pryce with the screaming fangirls. And don't let Dark Peter catch you comparing him to Bieber! He's clearly a metal fan.
So...if Pryce does manage to convince the judge that there really was an animated mummy, what kind of precedent would this set? Will you write a spinoff called "Samuel Pryce: Law of Nature", in which he travels the world prosecuting creatures of darkness?
(I would totally read that.)
Gamar = A dark wizard whom Pryce brought to justice. Charged with brainwashing, conspiracy to murder, leading a dangerous cult, and blasphemy.
Eeek, I don't read for a few days and now there's loads of lovely story! I can't wait to see how this turns out...
By the way, on the previous page, the past tense to "to hang" is "hanged", when referring to execution methods: "rather than that of a hanging judge. If they even hung anyone anymore."
@Darren-from-yesterday: I think they also referred to Polyjuice Potion as "goblins' piss". They can get away with a bit of swearing. I wouldn't worry about the occasional "hell" (which barely counts as a swearword anyway!) :D In fact, Grandfather could probably get away with "feck", considering his Irish name!
WV: aliestsf. A very secretive species of alien, so secretive in fact that they don't let people even finish saying the word in case it draws undue attention to them.
just caught up with about a months worth of reading. Can't wait for the rest of the trial.
@rubberduck: I hope the connection dark => metal fan does not work the other way around for you :)
WV: faigh. Irish a capella heavy metal band.
Caught up again and boy it is really heating up for that cop on the stand. Of course they didn't do any tests, to them they just had some vandels.
Of course this is going to get messy when Jenkins takes the stand. He don't like Peter or Dill one bit.
happy late thanksgiving.

It will be LAW & ORDER: SCD.
For Supernatural Crimes Division.
Cat -
Thanks on the 'hanged' thing. Never knew that before.
And noooooo, I don't think I'll be using 'feck' anytime soon...that's crazy talk...

What up, scubadude!
Glad you're liking it. You will especially like pages 39-40. Tell me if I get any of the details horrendously wrong...

Happy late Thanksgiving to you, too!
