I dunno, given how easily Enid managed to swindle that coffee without the benefit of a love spell, I reckon Veloria could easily get away with shooting Peter and friends even in broad daylight. I guess she doesn't want to risk it, though.
So if Peter and co. are Israel, does that make Grandfather the IDF?
And the myth arc moves forward! I do like how you can tie all these events (and there's a lot of them by now) together. And it turns out Fallon is not an independent agent, possibly! I thought he was the sinister mastermind type, but it looks like there's someone behind him...wouldn't it be funny if this person was completely different to the entity on the Other Side?
The fact that Enid hasn't heard of the Inaratu seems to suggest that it's a BIG world out there, supernaturally speaking, and that even the witches don't know all of it. Which helps a lot with worldbuilding and the sense that the stories are just part of something larger - good job!
Haggeri = Just as baked goods are bought in a bakery, a haggeri is where you buy specialist haggis. Delicious.
I kind of find myself hoping that Enid doesn't return to Oregon when this is all over and just sticks around as an added resource to the group. I couldn't see her continuing to teach school for rent though. :\
P.S. Your v-word is awesome Rubberduck.

Haha! Wait till you hear what Fallon is in this analogy. Hint: it's not an Arab country or anything like that.
Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the 'mythos' arc. Just WAIT until the next story! (And the one three stories from now is even crazier! It won't elaborate on much in the past, but it will propel Peter's role in the mythos forward a quantum leap. And no, he won't be switching bodies with Scott Bakula.)
Yeah, there's whole sections that the witches are unaware of (or most witches, anyway). I was going to work into the story that Enid doesn't believe in fairies, but I never could quite get it in there...things were too long already. But I figured her not knowing about the Inaratu was a good signpost that the different supernatural divisions aren't completely aware of all the other factions' existence.
Glad you're enjoying it, Rubberduck!

That is, assuming she survives...
