But you can't crush my hopes and dreams Mr. Pillsbury! I'm an impressionable reader, you may send me into a downward spiral!
After this last chapter I'm kind of reeeeally hoping Beth is/will be a witch. I remember some books back someone mentioned how awesome the stories would be years in the future with adult Peter and Dill and a teenage Beth. Now imagine that story, but Beth not only kicks but, she does so with magics. Muahaha.
Yes, very interesting that Beth is immune to (this kind of?) magic. My theory! Something happened over in Faerie, way back during the troll baby incident. There's no way she came out of that unchanged...
Dill item get! I can see the ability to turn into a wolf on command being VERY useful in future. Provided he can remember the command words, of course. Also hey, a metal ball on a rawhide strap's pretty cool, right? Though I am now imagining it as a ball gag. That's not right, is it?
Speaking of commands, Enid should be working for Nike, the amount of times she says "Just do it."
To be fair to Dill, dropping a house on Veloria would probably solve the problem. And they know a supervillain with a helicopter who'd be glad to help out!
Although I can see why they wouldn't want to let Dr. V. anywhere NEAR magic. Guy's scary enough as it is.
Dill clearly hasn't watch Avatar: The Last Airbender. If he had he probably wouldn't be dismissing moving around earth or air...

Hahaha! No, I don't want to crush your hopes and dreams...though Veloria might...
Yes, Beth would be a devastating addition to a coven...although would she chose the good side, or the dark side...?

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?! Changed in Fairie Land?!
"LEVEL UP! Player One has earned the Power of Convenient Lycanthropy!"
Or something like that.
Nope, no ball gag. It's small, like a large marble or smaller than a walnut. Think of it as something a badass surfer in a foreign country might wear.
Oh yeah...they should TOTALLY call Dr. V...if nothing else, he would love to study Veloria's powers...
...and then he could drop a house on her.
I think as of the most recent chapter, he's VERY sorry he made fun of Veloria's powers.
HAHA! Love the V-word. "Also used for the pets of surfers and snowboarders."
