Really I think the last chapter should be called: "Oh give me a break already." Grandfather really is wily one, isn't he? :)
And personally if I was forced to teach a bunch of elementary school kids I'd probably put them all to sleep too.
Aha, this is exactly what I suspected! (That the roles of the two witches were the reverse of what they'd thought, that is.) Just because someone's plain-looking, cranky and has no social skills doesn't mean they're the bad guy... Otherwise Grandfather himself would be the villain of the whole saga!
