PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

man peter is awesome he reminds me of when i was a kid..if i were a boy...but i had the Dill friend! Man i wanna be a kid again! and live in their town my childhood was boring compared to them....why dot hey get to have all the fun?

I know what you mean - I wish I had been like Dill, too. But as for the town being fun, do you REALLY wanna be swallowed by a giant amphibian? Duskerville only seems fun when you're reading about it, safely removed from being attacked by little vampire girls...
