Dill's so funny! But why do they have to clean the plants? I've never heard of that before. Not for live plants, anyway. Is it some odd American thing? :D Or is it because the mall's exceptionally dusty?

Cat,

I'm going to appoint you Official Fact-Finder-Pointer-Outer Person. To be completely honest, I have no idea if real malls have such services for their indoor plants. I know that some office buildings have somebody in to not only water their plants, but to wipe down the dust to keep the plants looking fresh (and to keep their businesses from looking shoddy). I just figured that the mall MIGHT have something like that...not 100% for sure, though. If anybody else knows, be sure to post it!

i'm not sure if i should be offended that they think 28 is old or not. honestly, at 28, i'm horrified that i've become a grown-up somehow.

Amen, Age. Since I'm older than you, double amen.

Hahaha OK I will try to find facts and point them out :) Maybe malls are mad enough to clean and dust their plants, if offices do. Maybe I'm just too used to plants living outside. I've heard of plants being watered of course, it just seemed a bit insane to have to clean them too! I'd have thought the watering would help keep the plants clean...

And Age, I'm with you - 28 is far too young to be a grown-up! Though I remember being that age and thinking that 16 was properly grown-up. Scary.

All the malls I've been to have plant dusters. I'm assuming you need to dust them so they live healthier. Outside, the wind dusts them off.

P.S. I'm old too >.<
