PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Hey, Darren, don't beat yourself up for that time when you had writer's block. For one thing, you update waay more often than most other writers. For another, sometimes after a break, I've noticed that it helps me see the big picture, and gives me a sense of perspective.
Desure: That feeling that you get when you start second-guessing yourself, despite your best efforts not to.
You're making me way paranoid for my upcoming hospital visit... and I'll be there for a week! Hopefully the zombies will get tired before making it to my floor. :\

I'm battling writer's block myself, and I tip my hat to you for turning out so much so often.
You're allowed to have a mental break every so often, especially when you keep turning out such quality stuff!
It really is a magic Morgue, Gus is up again and helping still. I guess that would be Peter's luck kicking in and giving him a chance.
Now maybe he can find out what the heck is going on.
Gus, and yet NOT Gus, saves the day. WHOOHOO!
