Wow. If no-one has any objections I'm going to start a praise campaign for Jax the same way I did for Pryce in the last book. That boy is a goddamn superhero.
Once again, Nostradamus predicts the next few seconds will not be Scott's favourite moment later in life. More like NostraHARMus, amirite?
...moving swiflty on!
UNDBS = Universal No Dead Boys Society. A charitable organisation set up by Jax to prevent gang violence in urban areas. He bankrolls it with the money from his modelling career and super-lightweight boxing purses. What a guy.
I second the motion for the "Jax is awesome campaign."
I can certainly understand Scott's hate, but whoah, that's intense! Reviving people just so you can kill them again? Yes, the creepy is strong in this one (though it's good to learn he didn't really have his pants pooled at his feet).
The bullies are running? Methinks they're planning more than to simply pants him.
VW: On the other hand, maybe they've been tabled. Run! It's the boogeyman! Trip Mike and get away!
He imagined crushing every finger, ever limb, one by one. He imagined taking a sledge hammer to his shin bones first, then his knees, and working his way up. He would save Mike’s skull for last.
This is my favorite kids' story. Now I just need kids.
I think "ever" should be "every," by the way.
"He was the one who going to suffer." Missing a "was" in there, methinks.
Woah, Dark Peter has absolutely nothing on Scott in a bad mood! Part of me wants to see what he'd do if he really did have Mike at his mercy - whether he'd actually carry out his torture. No wonder he's seeing a psychologist.
I third the motion for a "We Heart Jax" club - I think standing up to bullies with unassailable logic and zero sign of fear elevates him far above Pryce!
Jumping on the love of Jax band wagon because I'm a follower like that. But I understand how Scott feels. Sometimes imagining torturing someone physically to make up for how hurt you feel emotionally makes you feel a little bit better. Emphasis on IMAGINING.
viumb: The term used for describing that you had novicaine in your mouth and can't actually describe anything.
Rubberduck -
Whoa, whoa, watch the language!
But yes, Jax IS dreamy, isn't he?
Jenny Nolan agrees with you, RB.
All wishing to donate to UNDBS should contact Rubberduck.
Um the Muse -
Hahahaha! I might just have to steal that line for Dill in THIS story!
"The creepy is strong with this one..."
Nice.
Todd -
Have fun makin' 'em!
And thanks for the typo!
Cat -
Thanks for the typo! Phew, this has been a bad batch lately...
Yes, can you imagine Scott with Mercy's powers?
-shiver-
Three founding members of the I <3 Jax club!
Kelly -
#4 in the fan club! I never planned on making Jax anything more than a throwaway character in this story - in fact, I wasn't even going to give him a name - but it seems he might have to make a reappearance in a later adventure...
