PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Is that anything like My Little Zombie Magic Mausoleum™?
And the fourth…well, he hadn’t been able to look directly at Charlie, lying there mangled and bloody on the fraternity house floor.
I like that there's some possibility, however slim, something was left of Charlie after all. Did they ever replace him at work?
Oh poor Peter, he can't even recover from one adventure before he's thrown into another! Out of the frying pan, into the fire...
And of course no one will believe a kid that they saw something. At least till it eats someone what ever it is.
And looks like Peter isn't going to get any sleep tonight.
