PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Hmm, was Dill always this spot-on, or is the world only just now conforming to his expectations? Seems his level of awesome rises along with the wolf.
Incidentally, did you know the word 'wolf' has no rhyme in English?
Rexpl = The sense of disappointment mixed with fury that comes from being unable to take a leak at a service station while on a long journey.
I've searched in daylight for a rhyme for Wolf
Or even when the moon is full
For finding a rhyme would really rule
for real. But I'll cheat instead.

Interesting point about "wolf". Plenty of assonances for it though (like "hoof").
