Oh yeah. Good point about the cliff-side coast.
I suppose this would be too easy of a solution, but maybe the boys could scratch out the letters on the board? Maybe they could leave the letters in "Fallon"? After all, I believe you mentioned that the knife was able to gouge the wood, right?
First time I can remember this story "really getting going" on page 69.
