PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Oh, dear.
I hope there's some happy loophole to exploit fast.
^ The Power Of Love, perhaps? Or, well, FLOODLIGHTS AHOY is still an option.
Annoyed with myself I didn't spot the blood magic though! How embarassing. Though I did sort of guess Grandfather wanted to talk to Scott when he sent Peter and Dill to do something trivial.
Repersth = Maybe my imagination's running low, but I got nothing. Suggestions?
Well since magic doesn't have to follow specific rules - at least when compared to different stories, it is very difficult to guess the specific loopholes in advance.
We know now WHY Fallon didn't use the board himself.
Right now it is unknown whether this has any other implications like fast aging.
A popular method of breaking dark magic is self sacrifice (not necessarily suicide) - could be doable for Scott, considering who is among the next targets.
The other obvious option is to destroy/disable a required part. Like to destroy the Ouija board. another obvious option would be to take advantage of a slight weakness - the Inaratu aren't completely incorporal, they cant't move through solid matter WITHOUT cracks. So an airtight containment of the board should prevent further disaster, like completely immersing it in concrete.
Another popular solution would be Suspended animation (to break the life force connection).

Wouldn't that be crazy if I had a story where Celine Dion guest-starred to save the boys?
Then she could step into her helicopter and fly away to Vegas for her next show...

I tried googling it, but all I got was "Cast List for GLEE" and such.
