Can you spell trap? I'll bet the cursed board can: P-E-T-E-R...

V-word is too easy. I mean, losar? C'mon! No need to call me names!

At this point Peter doesn't know about Fallon, right? But Fallon does know about him. So I wonder if he's going to keep the fact that he's a great-uncle to himself and keep his options open, or tell Peter and try to drive a wedge between him and Grandfather. Personally I'm guessing the second one.

Scott trying to justify it out loud does kind of bring home what a monumentally stupid idea the ouija bard was...though it might just seem like that from Dill's perspective because he knows that the supernatural is real.

Groperc = Short for 'gropercenary', one who is paid to molest people. They tend to hang around the green light district wearing concealing clothes and running away from cars.

Oh dear. Peter going to see Mr. Fallon, without Grandfather knowing anything about it? Nothing good can come of that...

WV: Tessie: one of the lesser-known lake monsters of Scotland, "Tessie" is believed to inhabit Loch Tay, in the highland district of Perthshire. No swimmers or boaters have been reported missing, but many fishermen have found their bait disappears if they don't keep an eye on it, and some area residents claim to have seen a shadow in the water resembling a tadpole of unusual size.
