They remind me a bit of the "Pictsies" from Terry Pratchett's Discworld books - although I can't imagine them ever being that helpful or orderly! I agree with Todd about the frostbite. His mum already knows he's healed really fast, it's not like it's that much of a secret even if Granfather is a bit oblivious :)
WV: unnessen. The opposite state to nessen, which is one of the stages in the process of achieving Nirvana. It is two steps below True Enlightenment.
I agree with Anka! Needs More Gwen :) Yay! I(and lots of others) were right about the brownies! (Technicaly I didn't say anything about it because everyone else already did, but whatever.) >.<

Plus, Peter could do his homework if he wanted to, but he had no control over the frostbite either way.
@ Cat- See I was thinking of Terry Pratchett too, but I was thinking of "Lords and Ladies" in which they talk about Elves and how they're not these lovely benevolent creatures, but pretty destructive evil creatures.
Todd - I think it's because he's lying about several things, and freaked out by it. Rather than dispassionately dissecting what he can safely tell and not tell, he just lies by omission on everything.
But it's a good point - I'll try to illuminate a reason on the rewrite...
Cat - GF is pretty oblivious sometimes. Especially when he's obsessing on one topic.
daymon34 - Heh heh. Wait till tomorrow.
AnakMoon - Good news: Gwen will be featured SUPER prominently in the next story, "PETER AND THE MUSEUM."
Mina - Haha! I think Dill will be using your "I knew it, I just didn't SAY it" line in the future.
Todd - True. But maybe he's afraid of killing the goose that lays the golden egg.
Kelly - Hahahaha! Just wait till we get to ELVES!
That should take about 2 or 3 more years, though, at the current rate...
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

I understand not mentioning the homework, but not mentioning the frostbite?

And now I wonder what would take for them to let you see one. Or what would happen to you if you did.
Well at least at this point they are just a pain, but somehow with all the curses on Peter I don't think they will stay that way.
Have a nice trip.
Dill is rubbing off too much, he needs a little more Gwen in his life
