Whoa...

Sacciedn = Irish Gaelic for "Whoa..."

Creepy! What happened to the mayflies? Did he bring them back out so they could age and die normally? Hope they were OK! So what happens if you leave food in the room - does it go mouldy? Since time passes it should, but since people don't age maybe it doesn't... it's all so weird! And what happens if you go to the toilet in the room?!

Slight typo: "I packed several days worth of supplies," needs an apostrophe after "days".

WV: spler. A new form of fizzy energy drink for sustaining one on expeditions through portals to other dimensions. The name comes from the sound made after tasting it for the first time.

So the flies could live for a huge amount of time in there as long as they had food. Maybe they would live in there for the whole lenght of normal time in there, but that would have been years to them.

And that is quite a long ways to travel in pitch black.

Xirena from a previous day -
WHOA! Congrats on the baby, and I'm glad the little person is starting to give you more of a break!

By the way, that was hilarious about telling Frank about 'brownies'...

Rubberduck -
Hahaha!

That's how they dubbed Keanu in THE MATRIX when it was released in Ireland, btw..."Sacciedn..."

Cat -
Cool, thanks on the typo...

Ewwww, Cat, why'd you have to go straight to the toilet stuff?

Actually, I'm kidding. I had a segment in there where Grandfather said he just left the room to eat and go to the bathroom, and Dill made a poo joke, but I deleted it.

I now realize I am going to have to address the bathroom part in the rewrites because it is OBVIOUS that the bathroom part will be Dill's number one question about the whole thing.

That's interesting...maybe your lifespan is somehow tied to the outside world, if that's where you came from...huh...I hadn't thought about that...

Cat -
Oh, wait, I DID leave the going to the bathroom part in there!

I just took out Dill's poo joke. Didn't help the story much...
