Does Twinkie have to be misspelled to skirt copyright issues?
When does Dill not pee his pants... he does about every time something halfway scary happens.
Ah so maybe it was a premonition (sp?) dream.

Nope, the author just never eats any! Good catch!

Definitely some sort of premonition/ supernatural phenomenon kind of dream.
so... someone else with a grudge against gramps for the family in general, they are magical/spiritual/psychic, and peter obviously has something of the same in him too, so they are like on the same psychic wave length, and they know "the destroyer" is back in town and want to leave their business card so to speak?

No...these guys are totally and completely separate from anything we've seen before, and have their own motives for the evil they do, unrelated to the Curse or Peter's ancestors.
The dream was actually just a freaky story someone told me once, and it was too good not to use. Peter has a lot of bad dreams in general (i.e. in SWAMP MONSTER), so I figured it wasn't too big a leap to have some kind of supernatural force clue him in to the dark clouds on the horizon. So yeah, your theory on them (Peter and the villains) being on the same supernatural wavelength works.
How about THIS guy for Gramps?

Looks like Harris in that pic and he is amazing!
First thing I saw him in was Elvira, Mistress of the Dark the movie (no I'm not kidding. I LOVED it!)
