Oh yeaaaah!
Oh Grandfather, you better start fessing up to Peter about everything. He needs to know what he'll be going up against or he'll end up getting killed!
I know Grandfather has their safety in mind, but telling them would make things safer!
~N7
I dunno about that.
Go Peter! I'd like some answers too dammit. lol
Man Peter has some balls.... and rightly so, i like it when they stand up and demand answers instead of simpering and dragging it on for another 6 chapters...
And YAY! im so glad you liked the picture! Im going to have to try for more... but in my style
That's right Peter, stand tall and demand your answer. Watching people you care about almost get hurt will make anyone stand up taller and fight.
Now I wonder what kind of answers that he will get. Poor Grandpa is probably feeling old, being called out by his grandson who isn't even 10 yet.
Ohhh, you wacky people. I would argue that sometimes you're better off NOT knowing stuff. I appreciate the argument for the opposite position, but it's not always true.
Especially when you know stuff like what Grandfather knows.
I gave a very long response to misslynx, who wrote an excellent comment with a very good point, and touched on this very subject. Check it out: http://peterandthevampires.blogspot.com/2009/06/peter-psycho-trick-or-treaters-pg-22.html.
But now onto our regularly scheduled mailbag.

Ohhhh, N7...what if the news is so horrible, that you'd want to give up as soon as you heard it?
And what if there was a chance - even a small chance - that somebody else, somebody with a lot more know-how and power, could fix it for you? That's the bind Grandfather's in. He might just be able to pull it off...and if he can, why make Peter suffer with the knowledge of the horrors that await?
Todd's got my back on this one.
Andrea -
And you shall have them, I promise.
Just...not as quickly as you want them, unfortunately.
AnakMoon -
Well...unfortunately, Grandfather is old school, and is good at smackdowns himself...
Yes, please, more pictures!

Watching people you love in danger definitely gives you a lot more backbone, I agree.
But...what if Grandfather's not feeling old because of what Peter said...but because of the burden Grandfather's carrying? What if Grandfather knows something about Peter's fate that makes the old man feel the same way Peter felt earlier about his mom and sister?
I messed up that link.
Try this instead.
Forget it. I stink at posting links. Just go check out the comments on Page 22.
I'm just testing to see if I can post a link to Darren's comment.

Here's my two tests - I think Blogger's "nofollow" may have eaten Daren's link, so I'm just checking how blogger handles quotes. Please ignore this, there is very little risk of explosion.
