PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Well looks like the kid should be ok, if he was Dill he would have peed his pants though.
Peter and Dill have seen some pretty cool stuff. The problem is you can't apreceate (sp?) it when they are chasing you.
wow Dill.. way to prioritize...

yeah its a kids movie.. a bit creepy but still a kids movie, its early 90's, like "Troll in Central Park" and "All Dogs go to Heaven" "An American Tail: Fievel Goes West" "Rock-A-Doodle" "The Pebble and the Penguin" "The Secret of NIMH"
all those oldies but goodies :D

Sounds creepier than just about everything else on your list...except maybe "All Dogs Go To Heaven"...
