oh i hope Jenkins and Cyrus don't become buddies... it would be like your older brother being friends with your worst enemy... oh the horrors that could bring
Yeah, jackhole is going to become my new word of the day LOL. I don't think that Jenkins and Cyrus are going to become buddies. They are both jackholes, after all. Not a good combo. Now, I could imagine Jenkins turning out to have a hand in the supernatural shenanigans. Wouldn't it be awesome if he were the mastermind behind it all? ~Um the Muse
Interesting use of the past tense: "Gwendolyn wasn't like that" - a touch of foreboding? lol
It'd be awesome to see this on the telly! It won't be as good as reading it, but excellent all the same. Dill would be hilarious to see! You just have to make sure it's shown here in Britain, too :D
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Well Dill did stay in the boat, so the trouble maker was still there.
I hope they find Gwen before she gets hurt or stuck in the carnie.
Good luck on getting Peter on TV, that would be funny and a lot of work to find the right kid to play Dill.

I find Jenkins strangely comforting in this one. He's a jackhole, but he's totally normal, and so he forces Cyrus to be normal* too instead of creepy.
*Normal as in "of the norm", not related to Peter ;)
Good luck with Hollywood, it would be refreshing to have someone whose actually GOOD writing scripts.
I think it would make a good cartoon.
Good luck!
I'm sure it'll become a great show! Just make sure that it's on a station that I get here in the chilly north.
Please don't let them cast wrong! Many good things get ruined by bad casting! *cough*twilight*cough*
If it's possible get Tim Burton to direct! ... I know.. I'm just dreaming now. =(
But a girl can dream right?

No worries there. They're too much like alpha apes that have to duke it out to establish who's the baddest.

Hm, that's an interesting possibility...

Thanks! Yeah, finding Dill would be a huge job.

I didn't even notice that about the tense. I guess Peter's afraid she's dead, and subconsciously communicating that...

Awww, thank you about the scripts. And I think that's the first time anyone's ever thought of Jenkins as comforting!
And I'd take a cartoon any day. Except it'd have to still be allowed to be scary...
