Jenkins is good with kids. He should be a little league coach on weekends.

dude.... is Peter a by product of a summer fling his mom had with Cyrus?

Or does Peter know his dad... i never quite understood that one.

man this is so bugging me cause i cant flip a page or two forward to see where this is leading to..

I wonder what Cyrus knows about the thing in the water. If they steal kids maybe that is one way that they do.

I don't know what would be scarier, Cyrus being Peters dad or Jenkins coaching sports.

Yeah, I know what you mean, AnakMoon. I just want to read more! I'm so glad it's updated frequently :)

I don't think much has been said about Peter's dad. Creepy thought, it being Cyrus!

Cyrus isn't very attractive - Peter's mom could do way better ;)

I like to see Jenkins sicked on Cyrus. He isn't going to like being ignored.

Oh! and yes Ghostbusters...did you peek?

Todd -
Ha ha! That would be AWESOME. He would be like the evil sensei in KARATE KID, but meaner.

AnakMoon -
EWWWWWWWW, NOOOOO.

I can promise you that Cyrus is NOT Peter's dad.

As far as Peter's dad goes...I just haven't figured out the best time to bring him up. Or the best way to use him in a story. Suffice it to say, he basically left and hasn't been around since Beth was an infant.

And no, I didn't peek! I was going to, and then "Janice" and "phones" triggered memories from the animated cartoon, THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS!

Jenkins as a coach would be funnier. Cyrus as Peter's dad would just be...EWWWWWW.

Cat -
Yay! That's the best thing an author can hear, that you want to read more!

Tell your friends - maybe I can build a big enough base of readers/podcast listeners where I can go to a publisher and say, "Hey, I've got 5,000 fans who read on a daily basis..."

In case you're interested, about 70-100 people a day read the blog. Less on weekends.

Fiona -
Oh yeah. Jenkins would lay a smackdown on Cyrus.

Is it just me or does that imply that many readers do so while at work?

@Darren
animated?! really?!?! ;-P

& Alexandra Erin, MeiLin Miranda, and Wil Wheaton have all expressed their various takes on traditional/online/self publishing if you're interested in some other views/experiences. Sadly, I am linkless. Google to the rescue :)
