PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Waking up feeling like your limbs aren't your own, covered in unknown substances...prepare yourselves, folks, the next story is PETER AND THE HANGOVER!
Having said that, brr. I'd hate to be covered in cockroachratloathsomes.
Nonqsnee = A famous Chinese pirate who would generally let prisoners go unless they laughed at his name. Which is to say, he rarely let prisoners go.
I had a dream that incorperated my sleeping arm into it once.It was pretty creepy. It had the back street boys in it... (my head is weird).

Did anyone else read that to mean they lay there detached? I did at first and shuddered.

Well that would be a bad dream, and then give you quite a shock when you don't feel right after waking up.
I wonder if Peter stepped on them while going to his bed.
Perhaps the helpers helped his frostbite?
Ew! Maybe they injected him with a nerve-numbing drug. I like Rai's suggestion that the helpers helped his frostbite... I can be optimistic, right?!
