I see 'mad scientist' as a bit like 'hot chocolate' - you could say "That's one INSANE mad scientist" just as you could say "That's one HOT hot chocolate".
Yay, new stories! I'm foreseeing brownies. That is, the house-elves who help out for milk and cookies.
To be honest, I'd help out around a house for milk and cookies too.
Emboc = Having the appearance of being confused by something in the middle distance, as in "Better redo that photo, your mother-in-law came out a bit emboc."
misslynx - Hmmmm, good point. Although for me 'mad scientist' is more of a "two word, one term" phrase, I'll probably take it out. 'Mad scientist' sounds so...well, not as threatening as 'insane.'
Rubberduck - Hahahaha! HOT HOT chocolate!
Brownies, huh? Hmmmmm...
Um the Muse - What, like Hamburger Helper?
That would be funny. Various television animated 'thingees' appearing as villains.
"ATTACK OF THE CHUCK WAGON" "NIGHT OF THE HAMBURGER HELPER" "ENTER THE UNDERWOOD DEVIL"
Bwah-hahahah, wuth coffee through nose no less, REVENGE OF THE DOUGHBOY, what he pokes you in the belly until you bruise and then makes you say 'Heeenn-heenn' until you run out of air and die?
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Isn't "insane mad scientist" a wee bit redundant?
WV: harrands: errands that involve harassing someone.

I hope for Dill's sake that the helper is an anthropomorphic glove.
Just in case, though, Peter should invite Gwen over...assuming she's not still grounded.

And, given my last name, how could we overlook...
