PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Well that told Qwen that Dark Peter knew what Peter did, which also means he couldn't shoot very well either.
I wonder if Peter got a lucky shot or did he get some help.

After the crudtastic day I've had, I NEEDED that. :)
Straight in the middle of his chest?!? And, apparantly, Dark Peter only heard two shots, right? Wow, I guess Peter really does have a psychic connection!
snetsp: The slang term "oh snap!" derives from the ancient French word snetsp, when King Louis XIX would take over city after city in Italy (with each city helping in turn to conquor itself) during the Rennaissance. "Oh snetsp!"
because i'm an evil, suspicious person at heart.... i'm suspecting Gwen rigged the gun Dark Peter used alright.
and good on her, i say!
but can you really jimmy a paintball gun so that it shoots the person pulling the trigger? eh, probably not.
but if nothing happens when a trigger IS pulled, and someone wearing a poncho is VERY fast on the draw, and expecting where the target will head (while said target is both moving and attempting to aim, thus unlikely to be watching the 'spectators'), i'll bet you'll only hear two shots being fired.
