PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Too bad Gwen did not exercise her right to remain silent.
Not sure which I like less: Dark Peter or Jenkins. Dark Peter at least had his moments, early on.
Jenkins. The character I dislike the most. I'd really like to see him get his comeuppance.

Well Jenkins finally showed up, to bad he is a bit late to actually be any help. Oh well it was just an idea. And boy is Grandpa going to be pissed off now.
Wow, very psychological! Peter's Dark Side physically manifesting itself and running around causing mayhem - a cautionary tale for us all lol. It was worth not checking updates for a few days to get a big dose in one go :)
Jenkins really has trouble with reality sometimes :P But how is he forcing Dill's head onto the pavement with his hand, while still pointing his gun at everything else? It doesn't seem like he's crouching down, but I don't know how else he'd reach, unless he has super-long arms :D
WV: SWALPTA. A variation of the traditional SWALK (Sealed With A Loving Kiss), SWALPTA would be written on the backs of envelopes to indicate that they had been Sealed With A Light Press To Adhere, thereby deterring would-be nosy parkers. This acronym has fallen out of fashion with the advent of such forms of communication as email, although members of older generations can still recall using it in their youth.

Right hand holding gun, left hand on Dill's head. He's to the right of Dill's body, left knee on ground, right foot on ground with knee at a right angle.
For those of you who would argue that is kneeling, not crouching, fine - for you, he's balanced on the balls of both feet.
