PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Dude, Jenkins needs to dislodge the stick from his "fourth point of contact" as my lovely husband so tastefully puts it! ;-)
and I'm kind of liking the Sheriff. I feel sorry for him for having to put up with Jenkins on a daily basis.
Hey, wait a minute, Officer Jenkins did have some mercy in him after all! He wasn't pushing to try Peter as an adult? I'm very proud of you, officer.

Haha! I think, someday FAR in the future, Jenkins will become sheriff. This will be awesome, because he really WILL make Peter's life hell. The question will be how he gets to BE sheriff...does he do something evil to Gunderson?
