PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

What exactly did he EXPECT would happen? That they'd have 2 little boys for dinner and no one would notice?
That they'd get away with 3 murders (originally 2)?
The guy's a sociopath, he'll probably solely blame the boys.
Let's just hope they get out of this one, although I'm dreading the fall-out.
And he is Free.... and now the boys have problems. I wonder how they are going to stop him.
At least Dill had the sense to get in the crawl space, out in the open would be a bad thing at the moment.

This is going to have an interesting ending though. This is the first time we've had some full out deaths isn't it? How will Grandfather talk his way out? I know drunken frat boys will explain the naked part but, the apple/knife slingshot? The jewelry dessert? Going to be a tough one.
