Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Therefore, knowledge makes you do the wacky.

Really, pursuing any kind of knowledge for its own sake is a noble goal, but you have to think of the human consequences, including the ones you haven't thought of yet (cf. CFCs, which were a successful attempt to create a clean, safe, inexpensive alternative to other refridgeration gases). It gets even more complicated when you're under a totalitarian state.

Hygvqhzo (seriously?) = A Hungarian word that roughly translates to "The sunset on the water as the zombies approach." Alternatively, the sound you make when you drop a zombie on your toe. Zombie.

Ok caught up again. Looks like the good Doctor brought something back with more brain power than a rat. But probably not much more, but enough it can follow some instructions.

That must have been some rock, not to mention that the poor guy at the graveyard will probably still have nightmares about what happened.

I think Dr. Veedermeiyer is the most ambiguous charactor so far.

perfult: Dr. V's creation didn't turn out quite perfect, more like perfult.

Rubberduck -
That's right. Does ANYBODY do the wacky when they're a baby, and they don't know anything? I think not.

As for your other point, I agree. As a certain whacked-out-meister said,

As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don't know
we don't know.

And those are the ones that getcha.

(He should have also added, "There are also the things we think we know that we don't really know," but I think that was probably one of the unknown unknowns. At least to him.)
