This is getting interesting. Now I'm wondering whether grandfather is going to come back with a rocket launcher or something.

He said someone they have to see, could be someone with a lot of firepower? :P

500 posts on the
60th page of the
8th book.

There has to be some wacky mathematical stuff about cataclysmic events that happen like they put together for Lincoln and Kennedy.

Congrats Darren!

I have two words...
Sherman tank...
That, or a Howitzer. Then again, hubby is Artillery, so that could be why! ;-)
And now I'm curious as to who else knows about what Grandfather does for a "hobby."
Is this a "Monster Squad" for retirees?

Yeah 500, congrats.

Looks like it's time for Grandpa to bring out the big guns. Or at least some heavy duty ammo. Like maybe those door buster shots for the shotgun, or a catapult. I am sure he might even have one somewhere.

And you can just feel the Peter's not happy about not having a TV, even though he can toss a few million at some crazy guy.

At this point I think Peter is a little more concerned that Grandfather gave millions to a crazy guy, more so than the TV.

(But it was for SCIENCE!)

*beats down outer scientist*

Down girl! Bad!

Congrats on 500 posts! I feel old now for some reason... hahaha.

v-word: dedede. :D My v-word is so happy!

Using bulletproof glass isn't a bas idea if you keep very rare plants in there, so hail or the like won't as easily damage them.
Well as getting through - a cramp, pickax or ax seems the simplest way to breach it. It can't be that thick or the plants wouldn't grow (lack of light). In the case of acrylic glass, perhaps a saw too.

Congratulations!

Hey, I was wondering if book one is up for sale?

@AnakMoon: I don't know about cataclysmic events, but if you add up the numbers (500+60+8), that's roughly the number of chapters (including double-chapter posts).

On-topic: Maybe they should try to keep anything from leaving the greenhouse, instead of trying so hard to get in.

v-word: disessi. The unofficial name for hand-spiders and other hand-critters

Stormy Llew -
Thank you! And that's fine - just drop by every once in awhile to let me know you're around!

John -
Hey there! If you haven't posted before, welcome - and if you have, welcome back!

A rocket launcher...hmmmmm...

AnakMoon -
It's a celestial-style aligning of the blogospheres.

Mary -
Thank you!
Either one would do a number on Dr. V's lab...
Haha! That will be revealed little by little as the series progresses...

daymon34 -
Thanks!
That's funny about the TV - that actually IS a line Peter's going to use later...

Rai -
Well...I'm sure he's worried for his life, yes, but MAN he still wants that TV.

Eldoran -
Um...I think if multiple shotgun blasts can't punch through, a pickax or saw is gonna have a hard time.

Um -
Thank you!

I keep thinking about it, but I haven't finished submitting to agents and publishers. When that happens, if I get roundly rejected, you can bet I'll start publishing the books. Maybe in a year...? Maybe.

I've done it before (IMAGINARY FRIENDS at Amazon.com or ImaginaryFriendsBook.com, makes a great Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa present). It's a lot of work...
