A good plan even though you have to be detached to be able to do it. And Gwen's father might not have wanted to admit to himself he did want another boy, let alone have his daughter admit it to the world.
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Sadly it's Peter's turn next.
Hey, did I half-call it? Woot woot!
Pryce is a snake. I like snakes, but...it's still the best way to describe him. Still awesome, but in a snakey kind of way.
And it was Grandfather's plan. But he doesn't seem like a snake...any thoughts?
Fiesser = Pryce's name in Parseltongue. (No lips on snakes.)
Very interesting.

Actually...you might want to revise your idea of who the snake is...

Glad you're liking it! I was afraid people might be a bit bored with the courtroom aspect, and no monsters.
No reptilian or supernatural monsters, anyway.
