Pryce really can't be angry though, he did agree after all. It sucks what Grandfather asked him to do, but in the end he's just trying to keep Peter out of jail and away from someone who wants to kill him (someone who is actively seeking him out, not just a monster he happened to stumble upon).

Yeah but Price doesn't know that, He thinks that he is inflicting gross psychological harm just for them to avoid juvinile detention.

Pryce is still a snake. I like snakes, and I know that Grandfather does more snakey things. But he's too good at this to escape blame entirely. Still awesome, though!

My prediction - Peter isn't going to break, and it'll mean he gets a light sentence. And we can see what kind of nasty Fagin (can't remember the name but Fagin seems right) has cooked up for Peter.

Ningoto = Vietnamese samurai. Currently being considered for his own comic book.

perhaps grandfather is trying to push Mellisa away so she will leave, in the hopes that the evils stays on his doorstep and Peter can leave it behind him.

and yeah it sucks to hurt a kid, but imo its things that needed to be aired and addressed and perhaps its better for the children to face that now rather then later. maybe it will help fix a few things between Gwen and her father, and maybe Dill wont be quite so touchy to things regarding his family, pull away and start that independence he already has to shoulder unknowingly. But i'm a future family therapist so maybe its just that cold side of me.

@ Anakmoon: Not cold. I looked at it the same way. Yeah, horrid place to bring up those issues, but definitely needs to be done for future mental health of kids.

I am enjoying the courtroom battle. Having mundane problems in the midst of supernatural ones because of collateral damage makes the supernatural episodes more realistic. Which makes me love the story even more, because now I can REALLY picture this happening!

vw: Surase: sausage made of maple syrup. Native food of the Three Year Olds. They also use it to decorate themselves and all fabric they can reach. Considered holy.

I'm curious to see GRANDFATHER'S reaction after Peter testifies.
He's made a life out of putting up walls to keep people out, his daughter and grandson included.
God knows what it's going to take to make them crumble.

Rai -
True, Pryce did agree.

And is accepting the money, so...

goldfishy -
Very good point.

By the way, welcome!

Rubberduck -
He's an awesome snake!

Like Kurt Russell was an awesome Snake!

Fallon - although that's pretty good, Fagin, same Dickensian evil thing towards little children going on.

AnakMoon -
Mmmm...interesting theory...hmmmm...

No, maybe it will be good. Sometimes it's good to air these things out.

Maybe Gwen's dad will take her hunting more!

Hoboe -
Good! That's a cool way to look at it, that maybe these more everyday matters ground the supernatural flights of fancy a bit.

Cool, I like that. Hadn't thought of it that way! Thanks!

Mary -
Hmmmmmm...I can tell you that I know a couple times GF has crumbled, but we won't see that story for a couple years at our present rate...
