Todd - That's awesome. Do you keep up with vintage cartoons about vampires and demons, or what?
Come to think of it, I do, but not until recently. That is a 3-D reissue of a story from Mad No. 3 that just happened to have vampires. I had never read pre-code comics until several years ago, but I know Mad from late childhood.
I've just been reading through the archives, and wow! I can't believe how much I still enjoy these stories.
I also can't believe how much I've forgotten. It's like discovering the stories for the first time. It's kind of weird to see how few comments you got at first. I'm glad you've stuck it out thus far.
Wow. Grandfather just straight-up lied under oath. Guess he's not a religious man, then, or if he is he feels family trumps it. Or he knows he's being dragged to see Old Nick anyyway, and I'm not talking about the jolly bearded one.
Sonsm = An African folk hero. His strength increased as his hair got longer, but he shaved his head anyway because he believed it would be cheating.
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Thank you! Merry Christmas to you, too!

Aha, MAD...nice.
Um the Muse -
Awesome, I'm glad they hold up for you - and that you've forgotten enough that they're fun to come back to!
Uhhhhh...was there supposed to be a link there?
Or do you mean how you've signed your name 'Anonymous' in the past, but left 'Um the Muse' in a post after it?

He is a stone cold liar.
