Wow, that story was... utterly, utterly awesome. I loved all the little twists in it, and how far Grandfather was willing to go. What sort of deal did Dr Prescott have with Dr Veedermeier? Definitely something sinister there if Prescott's going to be giving the kids therapy. By the way, did you change his name to Sheldon after Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory? He also has an eidetic memory...

Is it really going to be two whole weeks until the next story? What torture! I don't know if I can wait that long! Argh! lol

WV: gonstein. What's left if you take away a mad scientist's favourite monster.

We appear to be going beyond the original plan of 16 stories (unless this doesn't count since it was GF's story?). Continue as long as you can, I and my kids enjoy these immensely!

Here is hoping you had a wonderful Christmas and to a superb New Year. See you in 2011!

Oh the good Doctor now has a student, not good at all. And Prescot is going to be working with the kids too, this isn't good.

Happy late holidays, and have a good new year.

AnakMoon -
Hey! Where's the drawing?!

Just kidding.

Cat -
Cool! I'm glad you liked it!

...and yes, I admit, I changed his name to Sheldon because of THE BIG BANG THEORY. And I changed 'audiographic' to 'eidetic' after seeing a clip of TBBT's Sheldon on Youtube.

Good call!

'Sheldon' was just such a nerdier name than 'Brian.'

But don't think of BIG BANG's Sheldon when you read Prescott... because, for one thing, Dr. Prescott is not nearly as funny as Sheldon Cooper.

In fact, Dr. Prescott is not really funny at all...

Rai -
Haha! Glad you 'eeped.'

Kyle -
Did I say 16 stories? Huh...maybe I meant 16 books. Nope, I foresee Peter continuing for...I don't know, another 20 or 30 stories more. At least.

Glad you and your kids are enjoying them! You have a great New Year's and 2011, too!

Yes, it's going to be a very eeeeeeeeeevil 2011.

Whew... that scared me... I thought they were going to juvie. I know I should be even more afraid that they're going to be in therapy with a devious, evil genius, but I can't muster anything but relief. Painful stuff. Still trying to decide if I could read this to kids.

Hey, GreenGlass, welcome! Yeah, I know what you mean. OTOH, think of some of the other famous children's authors, especially someone like Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mathilda, James and the Giant Peach and many others).

Those stories often involved wanton acts of violence and cruelty, but they still had good messages that kids could relate to, no matter how bizarre or contrived the story was.

I don't know if this would make good "read to the lol kiddies and sing a lullaby" type of material, but it would be great for those who are old enough to read on their own.

I'm a little concerned at how it says "bogeymen" instead of "bogeyman"

For some reason, the name bogeyman reminds me of Slenderman... (probably because they both end in "man")

It's been over two weeks and I can't wait till it starts.

@Mina- Squeee Slenderman :D

Omg, Im jonesing so bad for this to start up again. I've checked back probably every day since the 5th :D
