I quite liked this update.

I've noticed a trend with the way people are associated now a days which you demonstrated here, the fact that people are not recognized for merit or good deeds, rather they are recalled through memories of your worst moments or snot nosed comments by others. Look at the media around 'icons' in america....
tsk tsk, they should be ashamed

Peter Normal, avenging spirit! To be fair, he has cut a swathe through the supernatural community of late...

@Anonymous - People are basically good, so bad moments are what stand out in people's heads. It's much easier to be negative than positive.

Arlipsy = A strange medical syndrome, identified as a kind of depression caused by having no heroes or idols in one's life. It's a crippling disorder; but can be cured by watching certain anime or by exposure to one particular punk rocker...what a guy.

It seems both Peter's and Scott's POV are finally at the same timeframe and the flashback is over.

Now I'm quite curious how both stories will truly mesh. My first Idea after the first page with Scotts POV was simply Scott talking with Peter about the Turnerpike incident (I'm pretty sure this won't happen, or at least not until s*** hit the fan...). I have a guess based on the previous books though (I'm pretty sure this one will be spot on, even if I have no clear idea on the specifics).

Billy S. said it best:

"The evil men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones."

Ah, Billy S. What a guy.

Not as cool as Jax, but really...who is?

Rubberduck -
You know the book I AM LEGEND (not the movies, but the book)? Where at the end, the hero realizes that the vampires all fear HIM as a deadly creature?

Yup...Peter Normal. HE IS LEGEND.

So is Jax, Curer of Arlipsy.

What a guy.

Todd -
Haha!

AnakMoon -
Hahahaha! No worries. Don't get in a throwdown with Todd, now...
