PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Ok, done. I'm feeling really sorry for the kid. I was a victim of bullies until I figured out if I giggled insanely they left me alone. And I used to have horrible thoughts of revenge as well. But to have it seen worked out in front of me would have left me ill as well. And now he's stuck with it.

So I guess the Shadow Man is the ghost of Sean Connery's acting career? I'd feel like swearing via oiuja board too.
Thedger: One whose job it is in old hotels to make sure restless spirits, Indian ghosts, and the like are placated day to day. Otherwise they tend to hang out in the pool area and annoy everyone. Most people accept that the best thedger of all time was not actually a professional, but 'some kid, what a guy he was' on work experience.
