PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Maybe the whole frat are full of werewolves and the boys are intended to be the Thanksgiving meal.

This went from light to dark a lot faster than anticipated.
But even though this is scary, Melissa sent Peter with Charlie. Peter can't disappear unless Charlie and the whole fraternity do, too, so I don't think Peter and Dill are the intended meal. But I do think they're in trouble.
oh, they're not necessarily in trouble....
but i'm sure they'll get INTO trouble.

Makes me wonder if any of the werewolves have heard of Peter's family or something to that effect. Could make for some interesting events. But we're all jumping to the conclusion that the werewolves are going to be bad people. Maybe they're nice? Maybe...? Yeah I don't think so either. :( Poor Peter. At least he's using his specially honed creepiness senses to figure out that something is up.

P.S. I like Charlie, it looks like he's looking out for the boys... sort of. At least he isn't salivating. That HAS to be a good sign.
It doesn't take a werewolf nose to smell trouble! Still, they'd have to be really stupid to eat Peter and Dill, since people know exactly where they're going and with whom... unless the frat have a devilishly cunning cover story all ready, which will acquit them of all suspicion...
Either way, whatever Kyle et al want them for is not good. Maybe they'll get to see more than those dead cow parts! My guess would be as new werewolves (haha fresh blood), or they can do something to wipe Peter and Dill's memories, or scare them so much that they won't tell anyone.
Perhaps it is something to do with the family curse? It attracts others that have curses?! Interesting how they didn't want Beth. Can't say I blame them! Now Beth as a werewolf - that is truly terrifying.
