I'm trying to figure out how this gibes with Charlie and Melissa being coworkers. There's no way they can do anything drastic to Dill and Peter without becoming immediate suspects. Of course, this assumes they care about secrecy.
We all assume they're going to do something horrible to the boys though. I'm hoping Kyle was smart enough not to do anything like that. Maybe he plans on making them werewolves too. And while we're at it, is Charlie a full member yet? If not he might not be a werewolf yet either. Hmm...
I wonder if you didn't tell us the title of new stories as they are being posted, if everyone would know by now that it was about werewolves. Should almost make it a challenge to see who can correctly guess what the big bad monster is going to be in the new installments.
And khaki might not be his thing now, but i bet khaki wasn't any of the current frat boys wardrobe when they were dills age either, so nenner nnener :P
Lance - What's funny is that some of it was entirely subconscious...
Todd - This was a plot point I never resolved to my liking. I think I'm going with the "assumes they care about secrecy" part...
Rai - Like I said with Lance, probably half were subconscious!
Yes - maybe they're just misunderstood!
daymon34 - Ha ha...you guys have no faith in Dill, do you?
Todd pt 2 - True.
AnakMoon - You have hit upon the absolute biggest weakness I hate. I considered naming this something else, like "Peter And The Frat Boys" - I mean, really, that's potentially scary enough by itself. I've telegraphed SO MUCH in the title that a lot of the mystery is gone.
Of course, I tell myself that knowing what is coming - though not knowing in exactly what way it will arrive - ratchets up the tension. More than any story, though, I wish I could have gotten away with naming this one something else...
Ha ha! All right, I'll give you the khaki thin.
Hm. Care to put money down on 27? You guys have no faith in Dill's bladder...
I think I'm going with the "assumes they care about secrecy" part...
At the moment, they're so drunk, I doubt they care more than twenty-four hours into the future.

For a wider release, I think I would go with that. It follows Trick-or-Treaters quite nicely.
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Wow, sure are a lot of dog similes... kinda like you're foreshadowing.

I like all the canine metaphors in there. :)

Well boys trying to act tough are trying to be a big dog. That or just trying to be the alpha male.
And Dill was bad before, I don't know what will happen if he gets bad ideas from this guy.
I suspect once Dill needs to do laundry, he no longer will care so much about impressing them any more.
