Darren, funny you should mention Hermione. I'm actually re-reading the Potter series and I'm almost done the 4th book now.

Beth truly is one to be feared. She's like a Vicky*-in-training. I'd probably still think the changeling was actually her if it hadn't, well... changed.

As for Dill, he's like Fred & George* or Bart Simpson* or Todd Darring* character. They all have a ton of smarts, and not just a bit of them, but they only show them when they put their minds to it.

Vicky - Fairly Odd Parents
Fred & George - Harry Potter
Bart Simpson - The Simpsons
Todd Darring - The Replacements.

It worries me Dill is a more effective disciplinarian than Melissa. Funny as heck, though.

Well, it's clear who runs the Normal household. At least when Grandfather's not there.

Thanks for the handy-dandy pop culture breakdown guide! I would have gotten Bart, and maybe Fred & George (MAYBE), but not the others...

Good point on Dill. If he only APPLIED himself, as all his report cards say...

Well, he does, I guess. Just to odd things like manipulating babies.

Glad you liked it! I'd say he's a more efficient wrangler than disciplinarian...

In truth, I think that's probably who runs it in at least 30% of American households with toddlers...

I hope that it is going to be worth it, Beth has a mean streak thru her looks like.

That's just to funny.
