I love how the boys have become Grandfather's sidekicks. Its nice to see him involving them, it seems like a much better way to protect them than to keep them in the dark and hope they wont be typical inquisitive boys!

Eeeevil pastries. Haha. I can see why Grandfather wouldn't be taking this seriously. I mean, pastries right? But we know they've already killed once, and tried to kill again. A little caution might me wise.

@ DontPanik: Assuming Grandfather doesn't just ditch them sometime before heading off for the bakery.

Anyway, blasting away with the shotgun sounds like a good plan, but I wanna see the morning star in action!

I think the reason that the gingerbreadmen attacked was that the baker must have had one too many "1/2 off" sales. Starting with the head.
VW: gypeator: A horrible, monstrous beast that specializes in eating used-car salesmen. Starting with the head.

I can see why Grandpa would have a problem thinking they are trouble, but when have Peter steared him wrong with a creature tale.

Maybe they forgot to tell them there was a few hundred of the little guys. Large numbers change how nasty they can be.

DontPanik -
I guess you have a point about sidekicks...although I like to think of it as Batman (Peter) and Robin (Dill) teaming up with Superman.

A young Batman and Robin. And a very old Superman.

Against evil pastries.

Rai -
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL!

Um the Muse -
The morning star...? Tell me more, I want to know what you mean.

You are probably right. The Recession has had some nasty side effects no one could have predicted...

But they're a hundred...pastries.

Like doughnuts.

Nobody gets worried about killer doughnuts...
