PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). So what happens if one of them stabs Dill, gets brushed off, and then stabs one of the others? Can that transfer lycanthropy? Oooh, or can the gingerbread men themselves catch it?! Gingerbread werewolves! Bwahahah!
VW: ensubber. Lit. one who "subs" someone, by putting them subterranean, or underground. In other words, one who buries people alive. If you bury killer gingerbread men, do you get an army of them growing from the ground, or does that just work with teeth? Do gingerbread men even have teeth?

That's not good, those sneaky cookies hanging and dropping from above. They might have to keep an eye out for more 'death from above'.
And I am sure telling Qwendolyn to stay away from Dill when he is bleeding is going to be tough to explain.
