Welcome Jennifer! Yeah, Peter and the Deadmen was definately a fun story to start the series with. Just so you know, we rarely comment after the author has spoken. Don't know why, just one of those unwritten rules. I suspect that Darren doen't look at the old ones, anyway.
Um the Muse - Thanks for letting me know about Jennifer! Yeah, I just rarely go back and look at the old comments, since maybe 1% of the time is there a new comment...if somebody knows of a way to see new comments immediately in Blogger (I'm planning to switch over to Wordpress soon, btw), let me know.
Jennifer - Glad you liked DEAD MEN, and thank you for the compliment! Did you happen to read PSYCHO TRICK OR TREATERS yet? That was one of my favorites for the creepiness factor...
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

If Eric is interested in spite of Beth, he must be pretty darned interested. That kid is a cold shower with a side order of saltpeter.
