Hmm...so the Flannagan line is really the perfect group of monster hunters - evil finds them, so they don't have to waste resources and can defend themselves on their own turf, and they have the mental fortitude, inspiring nature, and luck needed to dispatch anything that comes their way.

Canny Indians.

Just one question...does it only target the men? Or has Melissa had some kooky experiences also?

Zedsch = What a German says when falling out of a tree. Loosely translates as "Oh, bother!"

This is a similar concept as the setting in Buffy. It guarantees a lot of chances to be a hero.

Before the blessing I bet a lot of Flannagan's didn't live long. Maybe that was what the light was that helped Peter when fighting the changeling. I remember a light shown on the book that he needed, and the page almost jumped out at him.

I think the curse affects all in the family, probably why Grandpa sent Peter's mom away. To try and keep her safe.

Rubberduck -
Yeaaaah...kind of...

Except they didn't want it...

Eldoran -
Or a lot of chances to be dinner for something big and creepy.

I'd say that's a pretty fair assumption about the age.

As far as the light...hmmmm...
