Well, looks like Dill's captured the essence of snowboarding already - spend half your time on your butt and when it comes to drag-lifts, fear them, fear them.

Stu sounds like a really cool guy. This, of course, puts him first in line to be eaten, and if he does make it out alive he will dislike Peter in some way.

Here's my prediction - that howitzer will end up becoming the largest Chekhov's Gun in fiction when Peter and Dill (and possibly Qwen who's been itching to shoot something) either use it directly on the Snow Demon or use it to set off an avalanche.

Techi - A Japanese word, meaning 'wonderful earth'. Commonly thought to refer to Southern England.

I hope Stu doesn't get eaten, it's fun reading the Ozzie accent bits!

Hmm, I think the Indian man's possibly there as a sort of guard to keep the snow demon at bay. Worshipping it doesn't really fit with what Grandfather told them about the Indians avoiding the mountain because of the snow demon. Either way, I wonder how long it'll take before Gus gets really pissed off with Dill?! :P

Rubberduck -
Ha ha! Yes, Dill's snowboarding adventure is based on my own, one-day experience.

Glad you like Stu! Yes, it does make him something of a target, though, doesn't it?

As for the howitzer...hmmmmm...

Cat -
Awesome! Glad you like them.

Interesting theory on Gus...

...and probably not long.
