I find myself reading this entire story in an Australian accent... I'm also glad that Peter and Dill only saw mardi gras beads. Where I snowboard there's usually skibbies on the tree. :D
Rai - Haha! Yes, actually, this story is partly based on a ski trip I took, and there were skivvies on the trees where I was, too...however, I figured I didn't need that detail in the story, as it was more of a throwaway bit. And a bit naughty for the intent of the story.
V-word: craffe. How Beth pronounces the mid-size container of OJ you get at IHOP or Denny's.
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.
