Ah. Well now, assuming the Abominable Infant really is dead, there will be no way of stopping the rest of the Snow Demons without killing them. Even going back to Duskerville might not work. This'll grate on Peter's nerves a bit.
Kanims = Those little lumps of unidentified...something you sometimes find in Pilau Rice, often called 'Badger Claws'. They are a delicacy in Finland, believe it or not.
Well technically is neither the swamp monster nor the snow demon a real monster. Both are very large animals. The yeti doesn't even specifically hunt humans. In this case making the mountain some sort of wildlife preserve seems a lot more practical (and was done for a lot less interesting animals).

Are "monster" and "very large animal" mutually exclusive? I would argue an envenomed prehistoric leviathan qualifies as a monster. Lynx? No. Yeti? Likely.
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Ah Peter has learned an important lesson about life: "With great fear comes great responsibility."
Oh poor Peter! Thats such a hard thing to have to do! I hope Mummy and Daddy figure out pretty quickly that he's trying to help!
So Frank is going to have company behind Peter's house, eh?

Well Baby is just that, no malice towards anyone at the moment. I hope Snowy doesn't hurt Peter when he tries to help.
That takes lots of guts to go back and try and save baby. I hope his luck kicks in.

"...and the more regular cleaning of underpants."
At least in Dill's case.
Or, at least, SHOULD be in Dill's case. Sadly, from what we know in "THE CHANGELING," this is not true.

Yeah, I gotta go with you on this one...
Um, I don't know if this is cool or really weird that baby yetilynx takes it's first reanimated breath on the same day my daughter was born.
